{Key Programming}
Additional keys are programmed into a Vauxhall Agila from 2000 to 2004 using a diagnostic machine plugged into the vehicle.

Alternatively... if the vehicle is brought to us we have the facilities to program a new key to the vehicle. Email us at enquiries@carkeyhelp.co.uk for further information.

{Transponder Chip}
Modern immobiliser systems using a transponder chip within the key started to be introduced into vehicles in 1994. On the 1st October 1998 it became mandatory for all new vehicles sold in the UK to have a factory fitted immobiliser system. These systems are automatic, meaning the owner does not have to remember to activate it.

A key without a programmed transponder chip will not start the vehicle.

See Key Programming above.

A transponder chip is not a remote.
